Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conny Valler kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fågelfors IF's zone, Leonardo Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Strömberg came out of the goal and Leonardo Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Blomkvist in the 6th minute of play forced Fågelfors IF's goalkeeper Roger Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Valler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Robert Kvarnström made a huge save. Andreas Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Strömberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaxholm's Joel Lundberg. But to his dismay, Joel Lundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Karl-Erik Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Kvarnström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Conny Valler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Robert Kvarnström made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Conny Valler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Kvarnström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Roger Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundberg in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fågelfors IF's Bengt Melander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bengt Melander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fågelfors IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bengt Melander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fågelfors IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vaxholm a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven Vestberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg. 2-2. Alexander Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Joel Lundberg made the kick off in the second half. Rune Smefeldt scored 2-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Strömberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Vaxholm's Joel Lundberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. After 66 played minutes Vaxholm got a freekick which was hit by Rune Smefeldt. 67 minutes into the game, Joel Lundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaxholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fågelfors IF the free kick. In the 68th minute, Joel Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Karl-Erik Hedin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaxholm and the Fågelfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fågelfors IF booed when Vaxholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Fågelfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundberg came free, but Roger Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Smefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roger Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
