Elvendale's Rune Wallmark got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Harlén got free with Tom Alströmmer in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Elvendale's Oliver Martinsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Alströmmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Ingvar Harlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Harlén was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Kullavik getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Thomas Nyström hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Elvendale's Ingvar Harlén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Alströmmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Elvendale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Harlén to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ingvar Harlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calle Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Oliver Martinsson hit a great ball. Herbert Friberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Nyström in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Lindberg in the 91st minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Alströmmer came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Elvendale's Rune Wallmark. But to his dismay, Rune Wallmark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Kullavik players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
