After a rather tough play, Heart of a Champion FC's Egon Wiklund got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Valler in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Bröms saved Heart of a Champion FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Valler in the 24th minute of play forced Heart of a Champion FC's goalkeeper Thor Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Kvalfält could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Roger Strömberg made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Fågelfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Ahlquist came free, but Roger Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Conny Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Isaksson in the 32nd minute of play forced Heart of a Champion FC's goalkeeper Thor Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Valler in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Conny Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Egon Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heart of a Champion FC's protests and gave Egon Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. Conny Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Bröms having to interfere. If Conny Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conny Valler to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Karl-Michael Gernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heart of a Champion FC and the Fågelfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fågelfors IF booed when Heart of a Champion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Gernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Tolsson's late challenge caught a Fågelfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Tolsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute Conny Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Henry Kvalfält got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Ahlquist in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Heart of a Champion FC's goalkeeper Thor Bröms had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conny Valler. In the 79th minute Lucas Ahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Conny Valler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fågelfors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Valler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Bröms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Heart of a Champion FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conny Valler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Thor Bröms managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Fågelfors IF's Conny Valler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Andreas Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Fågelfors IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Heart of a Champion FC.
