The tension between the Heart of a Champion FC and the Vaxholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Heart of a Champion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Sven Vestberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thor Bröms skillfully saved the ball. Egon Wiklund was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Joel Lundberg succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Heart of a Champion FC's zone, Rune Smefeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Bröms came out of the goal and Rune Smefeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Henry Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thor Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Kvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Kvalfält went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Joel Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Thor Bröms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaxholm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lundberg in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Blomkvist hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Henry Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 51 played minutes Vaxholm got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Hedin. Karl-Michael Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Robert Kvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lundberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Smefeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Lundberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Thor Bröms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaxholm. Thor Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rune Smefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henry Kvalfält came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Heart of a Champion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Kvalfält couldn't finish the play. Joel Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Bröms having to interfere. Heart of a Champion FC's Thor Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Smefeldt in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Karl-Erik Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaxholm's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
