Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lövnäs BK's Gunnar Carlsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tor Grönberg made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Rune Smefeldt sent off a good shot on target. When Sören Almstedt came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lövnäs BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Almstedt couldn't finish the play. Robert Kvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Leonardo Blomkvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lövnäs BK's Tor Grönberg. Tor Grönberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaxholm's Joel Lundberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor Grönberg. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Gunnar Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Kvarnström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunnar Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Sören Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lövnäs BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Almstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Blomkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaxholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lövnäs BK the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Vaxholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. Robert Kvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Almstedt in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Karl-Erik Hedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Grönberg. Lövnäs BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Erik Hedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Vaxholm's Roy Sjöö got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gunnar Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kvarnström having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Lövnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundberg came free, but Tor Grönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lövnäs BK's Sören Almstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Kvarnström was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Lövnäs BK's Sören Almstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Kvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Almstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vaxholm's Karl-Erik Hedin got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Lövnäs BK got a corner. Vaxholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Walmarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erik Walmarsson made a great header on Lövnäs BK's corner, it was just that Vaxholm's Robert Kvarnström managed to reach the ball for a save.

53 minutes into the match, Vaxholm's goalkeeper Robert Kvarnström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sören Almstedt. Tor Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gunnar Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Kvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Carlsson in the 59th minute of the match. Vaxholm's Robert Kvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Carlsson in the 65th minute of play. Joel Lundberg took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor Grönberg. Tor Grönberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sven Vestberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, one of Vaxholm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 77 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Norström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaxholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lövnäs BK the free kick. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vaxholm! Robert Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Lövnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Johnsson came free, but Tor Grönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tor Grönberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaxholm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Gallin in the 87th minute of play forced Lövnäs BK's goalkeeper Tor Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Smefeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lövnäs BK's zone, Rune Smefeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Grönberg came out of the goal and Rune Smefeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sören Almstedt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 95th playminute. Vaxholm were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lövnäs BK for a fine match.
