Conny Valler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Bengt-Arne Abelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conny Valler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Bengt-Arne Abelsson 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bleket BF's Gert Ekblom got a free kick in the 13th minute. Conny Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Abelsson having to interfere. With his leg Bengt-Arne Abelsson managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Fågelfors IF's Conny Valler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erik Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Strömberg having to interfere. If Conny Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, one of Bleket BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Fågelfors IF. Andreas Isaksson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bengt-Arne Abelsson. 2-0. Bleket BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Conny Valler scored to the left of an out of position Bengt-Arne Abelsson, making the score, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Gert Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Fagrell in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Edvin Fagrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bleket BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Fagrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Conny Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gert Ekblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Strömberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Conny Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Abelsson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Valler made a kick off. Conny Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bengt-Arne Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fågelfors IF booed when Bleket BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fågelfors IF's Andreas Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Bleket BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Benet to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Nils-Erik Valler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 63 minutes on the clock, Nils-Erik Valler commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fågelfors IF! In the 67th minute Magnus Frisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexander Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Frisk in the 72nd minute of play forced Fågelfors IF's goalkeeper Roger Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Ekblom during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, one of Bleket BF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bleket BF. Bleket BF:s Bengt-Arne Abelsson showed great skill when he stopped Andreas Isaksson:s penalty. Bleket BF's Gert Ekblom got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Gert Ekblom off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Bleket BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Gustaf Bennet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bengt-Arne Abelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Fågelfors IF from getting a goal against them. Magnus Frisk in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Strömberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvin Fagrell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roger Strömberg firmly grabbed it by the left post.
