Elvendale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sören Almstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gunnar Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lövnäs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Friberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Deckberg during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Elvendale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lövnäs BK were winning 2-3.

In the 54th minute, Gunnar Carlsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Friberger. The goal made the score 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Carlsson in the 91st minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Lövnäs BK's Sören Almstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Friberger. Herbert Friberger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lövnäs BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
