Spectators: 7237 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charlie Engström took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gert Björklund hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Boris Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Tingelholm made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Benjamin Aleberg sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Robert Pires put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Charlie Högström. Robert Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Robert Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Robert Pires came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Blåränderna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Pires couldn't finish the play. BK Ängen's Charlie Högström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Pires in the 20th minute of play. Robert Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charlie Högström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Blåränderna's Alfred Tingelholm got control of the ball when Kasper Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blåränderna's Tommy Heggert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claes Bokelund, made in the 35th minute of the game. Robert Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Blåränderna booed when BK Ängen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BK Ängen's zone, Maximiliano Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Högström came out of the goal and Maximiliano Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes BK Ängen got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Karlsson. Charlie Högström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robert Pires. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Robert Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blåränderna's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Högström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, BK Ängen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robert Pires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Blåränderna's attentive Maximiliano Vargas managed to snatch the ball when Claes Bokelund made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Charlie Högström came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Blåränderna's Robert Pires. But to his dismay, Robert Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Charlie Högström made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Robert Pires sent off a good shot on target. Blåränderna's Maximiliano Vargas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claes Bokelund, made in the 67th minute of the game. Charlie Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Tingelholm having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Robert Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Ängen's Charlie Högström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, BK Ängen's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Pires came free, but Charlie Högström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Högström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 93 minutes in the game Claes Bokelund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robin Björk. Charlie Högström came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Blåränderna's Tor Edberg. But to his dismay, Tor Edberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The BK Ängen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Blåränderna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
