Charlie Högström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Nyman in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, New Vae City's Arman Holmberg got control of the ball when Charlie Engström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fritz Näver during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25thth minute of the game Lars Brander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Ängen's Charlie Högström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BK Ängen's Charlie Högström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Brander in the 30th minute of play. Sten Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute of the match George Björk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charlie Högström skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute Lars Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Högström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Björk during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Ängen booed when New Vae City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Brander took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charlie Högström. Charlie Högström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Charlie Högström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Brander in the 56th minute. When Magnus Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Ängen's protests and gave Magnus Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes BK Ängen got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Karlsson. After 58 played minutes New Vae City got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Vestberg. Charlie Engström struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arman Holmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Ängen. Fritz Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Aleksander Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Högström having to interfere. Magnus Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Lars Brander took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Charlie Högström to make any attempt to save it. When Lars Brander came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the New Vae City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Brander couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BK Ängen's Benjamin Aleberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. The attack was good, but when Lars Brander in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Lars Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Brander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Högström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Lars Brander came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charlie Högström could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Brander got free with Charlie Högström in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Andreasson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Lars Brander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Charlie Högström came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by New Vae City's Lars Brander. But to his dismay, Lars Brander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. New Vae City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
