Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Brander started the match with the kick off. Linus Skröder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Brander in the 5th minute. A collision led to New Vae City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bo-Erik Vestberg hit a great ball. Arman Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Sefastsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Elliott Gallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arman Holmberg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Sten Nyman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Linus Skröder. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Walter Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Linghed's Boris Sefastsson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Vae City's goalie prevented a goal. Arman Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Sundberg in the 22nd minute of play. Linus Skröder was a little too slow when Lars Brander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Arman Holmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Sefastsson's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Sefastsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arman Holmberg saved New Vae City from getting behind. After 33 played minutes New Vae City got a freekick which was hit by Arman Östensson. Lars Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Sefastsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Linghed's goalkeeper Linus Skröder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernt Wikander hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When New Vae City's Lars Brander in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linghed's goalie prevented a goal. George Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in New Vae City's zone, Elliott Gallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Holmberg came out of the goal and Elliott Gallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes of play, New Vae City's Lars Brander made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Skröder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Linus Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Brander in the 70th minute of play. Boris Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Linghed's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Brander came free, but Linus Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Linghed's zone, Bo-Erik Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Skröder came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Linus Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Brander in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, George Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Vae City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linghed the free kick. George Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Elliott Gallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linghed's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
