With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Brander in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Lundgren saved Hultafors IK from getting behind. When Sven-Oskar Lind came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hultafors IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Oskar Lind couldn't finish the play. Arman Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fred Kihlman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Arman Holmberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arman Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. New Vae City were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Hultafors IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lars Brander took the corner. Tage Åman thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pontus Lundgren, a very annoying self made goal in the 92nd minute which led to 3-4. Lars Branders short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Pontus Lundgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. New Vae City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
