Sebastian Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jon Ahlbom made a huge save. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Slöinge IK's goalkeeper Jon Ahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emanuel Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Slöinge IK's Emanuel Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Hellström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 played minutes Slöinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Wennerquist. In the 78th minute Sebastian Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egon Jonasson charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Jonasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Slöinge IK's Egon Jonasson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Uno Björnberg was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Börge Colin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Börge Colin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Eric Nordlander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Slöinge IK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Eskilstuna SK side.
