Anastasio Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The long shot by Stig Åström in the 9th minute really tested Arne Käller's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Blue Hearts getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rune Möller hit a great ball. Arne Käller made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Markus Vallgren sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute of the match Jack Billock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Askstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aguardiente Antioqueño's Åke Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Magnusson in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Arvid Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knut Dalberg during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aguardiente Antioqueño booed when Blue Hearts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Dalberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Käller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguardiente Antioqueño. Åke Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Aguardiente Antioqueño's Walter Broman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Käller. That made the score 1-1 after 45 minutes of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Adam Rutledge made a precise shot to the right of Arne Käller. Blue Hearts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Arne Käller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Filiph Bjursell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Hearts's Arne Käller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Hearts's zone, Walter Broman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Käller came out of the goal and Walter Broman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiph Bjursell in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Käller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arne Käller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Bjursell in the 76th minute of the match. Aguardiente Antioqueño's Filiph Bjursell got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Käller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Bjursell in the 80th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Åke Askstedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Knut Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Åke Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Aguardiente Antioqueño's Adam Rutledge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Käller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Blue Hearts's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Bjursell came free, but Arne Käller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blue Hearts players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguardiente Antioqueño.
