But to his dismay, Viggo Lindqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anders Bäckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Bergström in the 34th minute of the match. Anders Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Bergström in the 36th minute of play. Anders Bäckman made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rasmus Alén sent off a good shot on target. Anders Bäckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brokket's Bror Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Lidberg in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viggo Lindqvist was the one to do the kick off. Viggo Lindqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Bror Jonasson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bror Jonasson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Andy Lidberg sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Rickard Bergström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gällivare BK's Anders Bäckman. Anders Bäckman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gällivare BK's Andy Lidberg in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brokket's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Brokket's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Lidberg came free, but Bror Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Gällivare BK's Václav Bartůšek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Václav Bartůšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gällivare BK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ian Lundin hit a great ball. If Rickard Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Viggo Lindqvist sped through Brokket's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bror Jonasson. In the 83rd match minute, Gällivare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Brokket was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. When Bo Brandt fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gällivare BK's protests and gave Bo Brandt a yellow card for diving instead. Ian Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Bo Brandt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Viggo Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gällivare BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viggo Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gällivare BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gällivare BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
