Tobias Persson's late challenge caught a Aros Vandals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Persson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46thth minute of the game Robert Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aros Vandals's Johan Lönn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ingvar Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yngve Vik fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aros Vandals's protests and gave Yngve Vik a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aros Vandals getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Yngve Vik hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play, Aros Vandals's Per-Inge Glad made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Ennegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blue Hearts fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aros Vandals had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
