Lokomotiv Ekhagen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Harry Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Fredriksson having to interfere. Anton Löfskog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jan-Erik Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Pihl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Erik Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Löfskog in the 33rd minute of play. If Harry Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lokomotiv Ekhagen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ellieton Football Club were winning 0-1.

After 85 played minutes Ellieton Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sten Ahlqvist. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Ekhagen's Alvin Månsson got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Ellieton Football Club were awarded a corner. Vilhelm Tingelholm went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vilhelm Tingelholm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lokomotiv Ekhagen's Jan-Erik Fredriksson did a great save. Jan-Erik Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Pihl in the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Jim Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valter Haeger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ellieton Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
