Kurt Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Stenquist in the 11th minute of the match. If Pelle Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kent Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steakhouse FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Stenquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Österlund in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kent Stenquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Hafström was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Frank Vestberg in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Steakhouse FC's Pelle Högström. Steakhouse FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after The Simpsons's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kent Stenquist took the corner. The corner ended in Kent Stenquist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström did a great save. Steakhouse FC's Christopher Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Hökkvist in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Thomas Pilgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Säf was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thomas Pilgren scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Säf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in The Simpsons's zone, Matthias Öfverman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Hafström came out of the goal and Matthias Öfverman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steakhouse FC's Pelle Högström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, The Simpsons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Majman to maneuver through the defense.
