Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Hasselqvist started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Greger Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hasselqvist came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Pilgren in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Ove Strömberg saved Örviken from getting behind. After 11 played minutes Örviken got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Beckström. In the 14th minute Thomas Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save The Simpsons from getting a goal against them. Kurt Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hasselqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Simon Hasselqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Hafström. Simon Hasselqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Simon Hasselqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurt Hafström, 2-0. When Simon Hasselqvist came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Örviken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Hasselqvist couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hasselqvist in the 38th minute of play forced The Simpsons's goalkeeper Kurt Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Örviken's Simon Hasselqvist made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Hafström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustav Dahlqvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Örviken's Kurt Hafström threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Hasselqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Pilgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kurt Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Hasselqvist in the 52nd minute of play. Simon Hasselqvist struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kurt Hafström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örviken. In the 55th minute Simon Hasselqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Örjan Berg made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Hafström. The Simpsons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hasselqvist in the 60th minute of play forced The Simpsons's goalkeeper Kurt Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Boström came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Gösta Majman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Simpsons and the Örviken players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, The Simpsons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Majman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Greger Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örviken's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Boström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, The Simpsons's Andreas Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Ivar Hellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Örviken's Sven-Ove Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Pilgren in the 75th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hasselqvist came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Örviken's Sven-Ove Strömberg got control of the ball when Björn Hökkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Örviken were the better team. Örviken's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
