Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Olsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Arboga IK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ago Kruus hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Thomas Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Rolandsson was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Arboga IK's Thomas Olsson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brunflo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute, Stig Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Wydrych made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Torbjörn Hedberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Arboga IK booed when Brunflo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Modig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Rolandsson having to make a save. If Torbjörn Hedberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Brunflo got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Kullander. Stig Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Axel Rolandsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Stig Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Thomas Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arboga IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Olsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Rolandsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Thomas Olsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Rolandsson. Brunflo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Olsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Arboga IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Wiklund made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Thomas Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Rolandsson was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 69th minute, one of Brunflo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brunflo. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Arboga IK. Stellan Häger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Axel Rolandsson. 0-2. If Stig Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Hedberg in the 78th minute of play forced Arboga IK's goalkeeper Robert Wydrych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Modig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Brunflo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Hedberg to maneuver through the defense. Axel Rolandsson was a little too slow when Stig Modig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 86th minute Stig Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Charles Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Wydrych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brunflo's Axel Rolandsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Brunflo from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Arboga IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brunflo throughout the match.
