Ingmar Finnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Pilgren in the 41st minute of play. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Lidberg in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Thomas Pilgren made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Mattias Lundin put in a rough tackle. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cloudberry Football Club! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for The Simpsons. The supporters of Cloudberry Football Club booed when The Simpsons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Hafström made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Filip Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. After 70th play minutes Thomas Pilgren shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ingmar Finnman and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloudberry Football Club's goalkeeper Ingmar Finnman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Björn Hökkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingmar Finnman. Cloudberry Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Hökkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hökkvist in the 96th minute of play forced Cloudberry Football Club's goalkeeper Ingmar Finnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, The Simpsons's Joel Wiklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joel Wiklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Simpsons protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joel Wiklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Simpsons fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! The The Simpsons support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
