The supporters of The Simpsons booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Hansson in the 22nd minute of play forced The Simpsons's goalkeeper Kurt Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus FC's Torgny Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Hökkvist in the 23rd minute of play. Kurt Hafström came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus FC's Ture Hansson. But to his dismay, Ture Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Kurt Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Hansson in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Dobrin Phoenix notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström. Kurt Hafström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kurt Hafström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute of the game, Elof Lindholm landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Li Shi Xiang's late challenge caught a The Simpsons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Li Shi Xiang helped the player get up and apologised. The Simpsons's Gustaf Andreasson was substituted for Elof Lindholm. The supporters of The Simpsons booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Li Shi Xiang didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Ladio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Juventus FC's Dobrin Phoenix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Hafström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. If Krister Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Hafström made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ture Hansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute of the match, Alfredo Ladio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kurt Hafström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th match minute, The Simpsons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. When Ture Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Hansson couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Alfredo Ladio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurt Hafström, 0-7. After some careless play in the The Simpsons defense, Ture Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Hafström. The The Simpsons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Hafström should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Juventus FC's Alfredo Ladio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. When Li Shi Xiang was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played.
