The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Torbjörn Hedberg made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Ove Strömberg. Örviken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Wiklund in the 8th minute of play forced Örviken's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Brunflo's protests and gave Gustaf Lindell a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Wiklund made a kick off. Torbjörn Hedberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Strömberg having to interfere. In the 53rdth minute of the game Charles Wiklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örviken's Sven-Ove Strömberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Åke Skoglund struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Axel Rolandsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örviken. Greger Pil's late challenge caught a Brunflo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Greger Pil helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Henry Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brunflo's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Magnusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Ove Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greger Boström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Axel Rolandsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Örviken's Fredrik Hedin got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Jan-Åke Skoglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Kurt Siöberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Brunflo's zone, Greger Boström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Rolandsson came out of the goal and Greger Boström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Örviken booed when Brunflo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Torbjörn Hedberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brunflo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kurt Siöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örviken's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Siöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Rolandsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
