After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Sverker Blixt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lund's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Blixt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Larsfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Storebro BF's zone, Manfred Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Kevin Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storebro BF's protests and gave Kevin Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lund booed when Storebro BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Ahlrot in the 74th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Sverker Blixt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Storebro BF's Adam Larsfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Mats Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Månsson made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Ulrik Bredberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Lindberg in the 99th minute of play forced Storebro BF's goalkeeper Adam Larsfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lund had played much better football throughout.
