Oskar Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tor Beckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Sverker Blixt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lund getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Oskar Nyberg hit a great ball. Thomas Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Sverker Blixt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bredaryd IFK the free kick. Sverker Blixt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Vester got free with Emil Månsson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tor Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Blixt in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Lund's Sverker Blixt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Beckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sverker Blixt struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tor Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lund. In the 37th minute, Kent Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Elg in the 39th minute of play forced Lund's goalkeeper Emil Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joacim Vik kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Alvin Vester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lund's Emil Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Lund from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Elg made a kick off. After 58 played minutes Bredaryd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Vester. After 59 played minutes Bredaryd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sven Fransson. After having played for 62 minutes, Manfred Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Eklund struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tor Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lund. 66 minutes into the match, Bredaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Blixt came free, but Tor Beckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Lindman's late challenge caught a Bredaryd IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Lindman helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Lund's zone, Alvin Vester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Månsson came out of the goal and Alvin Vester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Vester in the 78th minute of play forced Lund's goalkeeper Emil Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stellan Lindqvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Lund:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bredaryd IFK:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Bredaryd IFK. Knut Lindgren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emil Månsson. 1-1. When Kent Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bredaryd IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. Emil Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Samuelsson in the 86th minute of the match. Emil Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lund's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Knut Lindgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Bredaryd IFK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Knut Lindgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lund's Emil Månsson did a great save. Emil Månsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joakim Bäckman went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lund players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bredaryd IFK.
