Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eric Ahlrot made the kick off and thus started the match. Ulrik Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jimmy Alströmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jimmy Alströmer made a huge save. After 7 minutes, Ola Håkansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Storebro BF's Adam Larsfält tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Larsfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Åhlberg in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Eric Ahlrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Alströmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Storebro BF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Bergman. Folke Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ola Håkansson in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Larsfält prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmy Alströmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Bredberg in the 32nd minute. When Kjell Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storebro BF's protests and gave Kjell Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Södra Förorter FC got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Ström. Jimmy Alströmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Benett was the one to do the kick off. If Walter Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulrik Bredberg in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Alströmer saved Södra Förorter FC from getting behind. Jimmy Alströmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Bredberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Södra Förorter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Åhlberg to maneuver through the defense. Ulrik Bredberg got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jimmy Alströmer handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Kent Finman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Södra Förorter FC and the Storebro BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Bredberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Södra Förorter FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Alströmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Larsfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Södra Förorter FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
