Sven-Åke Odeen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Kollberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Tias Tattare's goalkeeper Leo Pihlblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Pihlblad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jens-Ola Kollberg fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elden Ringers's protests and gave Jens-Ola Kollberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Elden Ringers got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Kollberg. In the 31st match minute, Elden Ringers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Olof Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Pihlblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
