Joseph Sandström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jan-Åke Andersson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Mikael Valler sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Mikael Valler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Grindstugan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Valler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaj Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Andersson having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Kaj Åkesson put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Åke Andersson. IFK Grindstugan's Kaj Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jan-Åke Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kaj Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Oliver Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Bergman made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Mikael Valler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Andersson was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Mikael Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Åkesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Andersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Åkesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Simlångsdalen's Jan-Åke Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Åkesson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Mikael Valler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. IFK Grindstugan's Fred Vesterberg was substituted for Ove Pihlblad. Kaj Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Jan-Åke Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Åkesson in the 82nd minute of the match. Mikael Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IFK Grindstugan's Per Kvalfält was substituted for Kaj Åkesson.
