Svint Clviя FC's Simon Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Svint Clviя FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, IFK Grindstugan's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Kjellkvist came free, but Valdemar Barck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Valler in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Kaj Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Barck having to interfere. Urban Kjellkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Barck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urban Kjellkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Åkesson was the one to do the kick off. When Urban Kjellkvist came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Svint Clviя FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Kjellkvist couldn't finish the play. Kaj Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Simon Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaj Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Söderberg having to interfere. Simon Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Åkesson in the 61st minute of play. Simon Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Wiktor Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaj Åkesson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Söderberg. Simon Söderberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mikael Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Söderberg having to interfere. Simon Söderberg came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Grindstugan's Kaj Åkesson. But to his dismay, Kaj Åkesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of IFK Grindstugan booed when Svint Clviя FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Kvalfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes IFK Grindstugan got a freekick which was hit by Olle Winström. IFK Grindstugan's Valdemar Barck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Apelquist in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. IFK Grindstugan had won after a very even match.
