Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Tims Tomtar's Nils Valrot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Helge Askelöf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tims Tomtar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simlångsdalen the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Askstedt in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Kruuse saved Tims Tomtar from getting behind. In the 9th minute, one of Tims Tomtar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tims Tomtar. Jan-Åke Andersson made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nils Valrot sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Simlångsdalen got a freekick which was hit by Joar Västlund. Carl Almstedt struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Karl-Michael Kruuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simlångsdalen. In the 31st minute, Nils Valrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Carl Almstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simlångsdalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tims Tomtar the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Nils Valrot could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Jan-Åke Andersson however easily saved by the left post. Nils Valrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Andersson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bergman got free with Karl-Michael Kruuse in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Trulsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Michael Kruuse having to make a save. After having played for 63 minutes, Gunnar Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simlångsdalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Trulsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Ivan Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play Tims Tomtar's Helge Askelöf was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 71st match minute, Tims Tomtar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Askelöf to maneuver through the defense. Simlångsdalen's Jan-Åke Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Brodin in the 73rd minute of play. Svante Dahlman lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 75th minute, one of Tims Tomtar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tims Tomtar. The referee gave Simlångsdalen a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Verner Kiempe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tims Tomtar's Karl-Michael Kruuse. 0-2. In the 84th minute, Håkan Jelm fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Oliver Bergman took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Michael Kruuse. Karl-Michael Kruuse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Tims Tomtar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Simlångsdalen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
