Kennet Ahlkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tunström in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peder Eriksson during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ljungsbro FC's Damazy Blochowiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ljungsbro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Mikael Mellin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungsbro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 23 played minutes Becksvart Bois got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Hedlund. Jonathan Beckman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kennet Ahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungsbro FC. In the 26th minute, Wiktor Kiempe made a precise shot to the right of Damazy Blochowiak. Ljungsbro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jan Bagge charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Bagge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damazy Blochowiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Kiempe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ljungsbro FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ragnar Billing hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Ljungsbro FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Mellin. 37 minutes into the match, Mark Bure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damazy Blochowiak. Ljungsbro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Bure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Wiktor Kiempe might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Blochowiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiktor Kiempe ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Bure came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damazy Blochowiak could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Kiempe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damazy Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Kiempe in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvin Hedlund during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Edvin Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Bergman lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mark Bure walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 60 minutes into the game, Wiktor Kiempe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Becksvart Bois's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungsbro FC the free kick. Wiktor Kiempe kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Ragnar Billing fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Hedlund in the 67th minute of play forced Ljungsbro FC's goalkeeper Damazy Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ragnar Billing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kennet Ahlkvist. That made the score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. After 77 played minutes Becksvart Bois got a freekick which was hit by Kent Lindgren. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ragnar Billing sped through Becksvart Bois's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kennet Ahlkvist. In the 83rd minute Mark Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ljungsbro FC's Ragnar Billing got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th match minute, Becksvart Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Ljungsbro FC's Damazy Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Kiempe in the 93rd minute of play.
