Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gyttorp's Mathias Ivarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Harry Ahlquist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Hedström, 1-0. A collision led to Varnhem getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Edgar Gadd hit a great ball. Samuel Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Ahlquist in the 16th minute. 18 minutes in the game, Harry Ahlquist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samuel Hedström having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Varnhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Vallman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Mathias Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyttorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Ahlquist in the 24th minute. Mathias Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Samuel Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Collin's late challenge caught a Varnhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Collin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute Gabriel Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samuel Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Lars-Erik Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Samuel Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. John Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Samuel Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Vibjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Varnhem's Samuel Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Vibjörnsson in the 93rd minute of play. Samuel Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Tolsson in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Gyttorp players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
