An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Beckman in the 15th minute of play forced Höjdens FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Beckman in the 16th minute of the match. Ragnar Billing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Höjdens FC's Mark Kinnman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mark Kinnman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Höjdens FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mark Kinnman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jonathan Beckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the game, Mikael Mellin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljungsbro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höjdens FC the free kick. Mikael Mellin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Mikael Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Rönn's late challenge caught a Ljungsbro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Rönn helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Höjdens FC got a freekick which was hit by Holger Rönn. Höjdens FC's Ingvar Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Beckman in the 41st minute of play. Höjdens FC's Sven-Arne Benet managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stefan Skark in the 47 minute of the game. The Höjdens FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ljungsbro FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andréas Tolsson to make the kick off. Ingvar Dahlquist made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jonathan Beckman sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Mikael Mellin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungsbro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ingvar Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Beckman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Beckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Dahlquist was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 77 played minutes Höjdens FC got a freekick which was hit by Anders Malmgren.
