Spectators: 6220 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 20) Erik Olofsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bengt-Åke Eklund took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Hedström. Samuel Hedström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bengt-Åke Eklund sped through Varnhem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Hedström. 12 minutes into the match, Varnhem's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Eklund came free, but Samuel Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mora IK's Edvin Petersson got a free kick in the 20th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Varnhem's Kenny Adelsköld tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Eklund scored 1-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Hedström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Bengt-Åke Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mora IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Hedström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Olofsson's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. André Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Öman having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mikael Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Olofsson succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Östlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Patric Sjödin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mora IK's Sonny Öman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Öman having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Eklund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Hedström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Erik Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Samuel Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Olofsson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute André Östlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Öman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, André Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varnhem's supporters rose to their feet, but André Östlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Öman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute André Östlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Öman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mora IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Hedström having to make a save. After 95 played minutes Erik Olofsson rounded Varnhem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7.
