Majestic Vadstena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Nordkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Angels FC's Karl-Michael Nykvist got control of the ball when Jesper Bengtsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jens Åman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majestic Vadstena's Magnus Löv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Angels FC booed when Majestic Vadstena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Patrik Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Angels FC's Stefan Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Jens Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Löv was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jens Åman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. After 63 minutes, Bengt-Rune Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Majestic Vadstena and the Angels FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Majestic Vadstena's goalkeeper Magnus Löv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Majestic Vadstena's Magnus Löv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Majestic Vadstena from getting a goal against them. Angels FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
