Anders Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Lindholm having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Nicklas Stor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niklas Harlén. The goal made the score 1-0. Börje Ahlén might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Lindholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börje Ahlén ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Brunflo IK's Edvin Snäll shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Lindholm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brunflo IK reached it. When Joel Blanck fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hyssna's protests and gave Joel Blanck a yellow card for diving instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brunflo IK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jan Lindström hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Ahlén was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Nicklas Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Harlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Nicklas Stor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyssna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Stor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hugo Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Hugo Lindholm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
