Adam Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Ahlén in the 8th minute of the match. Jan Lindström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Adam Linquist made a huge save. In the 12th match minute, Kävlinge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Back to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kävlinge FC booed when Brunflo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Hedbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Harlén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Abrahamsson went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adam Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Hedbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Anders Malmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adam Linquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Börje Ahlén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adam Linquist. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Kävlinge FC's Adam Linquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Kävlinge FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Börje Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörn Valrot was the one to do the kick off. Niklas Harlén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Olof Carlsson in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Lindström in the 61st minute of play forced Kävlinge FC's goalkeeper Adam Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Jan Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kävlinge FC's Adam Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Ahlén in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Jan Lindström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Adam Linquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Hedbom went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Brunflo IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
