Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Åke Öman got the match started through his kick off. When Gottfrid Svensson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vetlanda's protests and gave Gottfrid Svensson a yellow card for diving instead. Gottfrid Svensson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vetlanda's zone, Manfred Bröms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Erik Alefors came out of the goal and Manfred Bröms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vetlanda's Sven-Erik Alefors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vetlanda from getting a goal against them. Åke Öman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vetlanda booed when Glenns Unajted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Barck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Manfred Bröms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Carl Ersman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hampus Falkrantz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hampus Falkrantz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hampus Falkrantz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Per-Erik Mogren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Öman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carl Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Vetlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Manfred Brömss short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Sven-Erik Alefors to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Carl Ersman made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Glenns Unajted's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Öman came free, but Per-Erik Mogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manfred Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Per-Erik Mogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Öman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Glenns Unajted's Per-Erik Mogren got control of the ball when Hampus Falkrantz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manfred Bröms scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Erik Alefors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Manfred Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenns Unajted's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Alefors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vetlanda's Sven-Erik Alefors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Ersman in the 81st minute of play. Oskar Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Mogren having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Manfred Bröms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Alefors was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 89th minute, Carl Ersman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Alefors was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Öman in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Erik Mogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
