Bengt Eklund came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaggeryd's Kenneth Strandberg. But to his dismay, Kenneth Strandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bengt Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Dăscălescu in the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Alcatraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Sävström to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Banner, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Bengt Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Fahlgren in the 29th minute of play. Bengt Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Vaggeryd were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bengt Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Dăscălescu in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Anders Fahlgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bengt Eklund. The goal made the score 1-4. Bengt Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Dăscălescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Mugurel Dăscălescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. If Kenneth Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Alcatraz FC's goalkeeper Bengt Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anders Fahlgren. Mugurel Dăscălescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Eklund having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Vaggeryd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alcatraz FC.
