NK Podgrmec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hok the free kick. A collision led to NK Podgrmec getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Örn hit a great ball. Reine Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Roger Östman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Reine Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Skoog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mecnun Erçelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Reine Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mecnun Erçelik scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reine Bruhn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reine Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mecnun Erçelik in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes NK Podgrmec got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Kihlberg. 39 minutes into the game, Hok's Amadeo Tulio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reine Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Reine Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tulio in the 43rd minute of play. Reine Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Reine Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mecnun Erçelik in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, NK Podgrmec's goalkeeper Reine Bruhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Brander. After 62 minutes, Thomas Wallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Podgrmec and the Hok players grew even worse after the yellow card. 65 minutes into the match, Håkan Skoog notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of NK Podgrmec's Reine Bruhn. Lennart Brander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Reine Bruhn made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Hok's Lennart Brander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reine Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 88th play minute Lennart Brander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reine Bruhn. 0-8. After 94 played minutes NK Podgrmec got a freekick which was hit by Peder Jönsson. The long shot by Mecnun Erçelik in the 95th minute really tested Reine Bruhn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hok's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
