Folke Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mecnun Erçelik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Månsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Skoog went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Hok's Håkan Skoog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Folke Månsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Javier Arce hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Mecnun Erçelik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Skoog in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Lennart Brander made a precise shot to the right of Folke Månsson. Wrexham A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 42nd minute Mecnun Erçelik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karl-Johan Lund fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wrexham A.F.C.'s protests and gave Karl-Johan Lund a yellow card for diving instead. When Lennart Brander came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Brander couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edvin Rolandsson hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Skoog to strike the kick off in the second half. Henrik Pihlgren's late challenge caught a Hok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Henrik Pihlgren got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Amadeo Tulio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 57 minutes of play, Hok's Lennart Brander made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Rune Hedvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Mecnun Erçelik sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson didn't even have to move. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Tulio in the 74th minute of play. If Amadeo Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Skoog received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Folke Månsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Håkan Skoog slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 77th minute. In the 80th play minute Håkan Skoog came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Folke Månsson. 0-10. Håkan Skoogs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Folke Månsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lennart Brander in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Folke Månsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95th minute Amadeo Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Wrexham A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Pihlgren. The Wrexham A.F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hok were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
