When Ivar Aleberg came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Wrexham A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Aleberg couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Karl-Johan Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ninão Dobrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Andersson in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Johan Lund in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ninão Dobrev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Matfors IF booed when Wrexham A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
