Ninão Dobrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5thth minute of the game Allan Hammarberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matfors IF's Ninão Dobrev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes, Screaming Eagles's Michael Ekström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ninão Dobrev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Screaming Eagles reached it. Matfors IF's Ninão Dobrev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Matfors IF from getting a goal against them. Allan Hammarbergs short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ninão Dobrev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Allan Hammarberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ninão Dobrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hammarberg in the 12th minute of play. If Allan Hammarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Hammarberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Matfors IF's goalkeeper Ninão Dobrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Screaming Eagles's Allan Hammarberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Jansson in the 27th minute of play forced Screaming Eagles's goalkeeper Snorre Ollongren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Matfors IF were awarded a corner. Elof Bredberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Matfors IF's Elof Bredberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Snorre Ollongren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute Emanuel Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ninão Dobrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ninão Dobrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Hammarberg in the 32nd minute of the match. Ninão Dobrev made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Allan Hammarberg sent off a good shot on target. Bertil Offendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Allan Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ninão Dobrev having to interfere. With his leg Ninão Dobrev managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Screaming Eagles's Allan Hammarberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 47th minute Carl Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Snorre Ollongren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Ros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ninão Dobrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hammarberg in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carl Ros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Snorre Ollongren. That made the score 2-1 in the 56 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Matfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hammarberg came free, but Ninão Dobrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Hammarberg in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ninão Dobrev saved Matfors IF from getting behind. Bertil Offendahl's late challenge caught a Screaming Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Offendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Bertil Offendahl hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Allan Hammarberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ninão Dobrev was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Lars-Erik Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Matfors IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Jansson couldn't finish the play. Snorre Ollongren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Ros in the 85th minute of the match. Bertil Offendahl got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Matfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Offendahl to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Matfors IF's Erland Stenström got a free kick in the 91st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Screaming Eagles's Emanuel Sundén tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Allan Hammarberg made a precise shot to the right of Ninão Dobrev. Matfors IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There was no doubt that Screaming Eagles were the better team. Screaming Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
