Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon Wennerström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simon Wennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Egon Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Erling Bergfelt made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gröna Stjärnan's Alf Björklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th match minute, Gröna Stjärnan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Asklund to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Habo's Michel Wenerdahl tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Simon Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Habo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Abelsson to maneuver through the defense. Gröna Stjärnan's Morgan Malmström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Habo. After 24 played minutes Gröna Stjärnan got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Lundgren. In the 35th match minute, Habo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Gröna Stjärnan's Morgan Malmström in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 43 minutes into the match, Habo's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Wennerström came free, but Egon Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Johnsson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egon Lindqvist saved Habo from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Bergfelt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sten Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Bergfelt in the 54th minute of play. Egon Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Johnsson in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Habo's zone, Simon Wennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Lindqvist came out of the goal and Simon Wennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tony Johnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Egon Lindqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Bergfelt in the 65th minute of play forced Gröna Stjärnan's goalkeeper Alf Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Habo's Allan Abelsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Habo's Egon Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Wennerström in the 72nd minute of play. Gröna Stjärnan's Alf Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bergfelt in the 91st minute of play. Gröna Stjärnan's Kjell Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
