Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Börge Friberger kicked off to start the match. Egon Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Friberger in the 3rd minute of play. Egon Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Fanström in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Hällefors booed when Habo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Habo's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Friberger came free, but Egon Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Habo's Egon Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Fanström in the 12th minute of play. Richard Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Lindqvist having to interfere. When Börge Friberger fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hällefors's protests and gave Börge Friberger a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hällefors's Börge Friberger got a free kick in the 20th minute. Erling Bergfelt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Bergendahl having to make a save. In the 29th minute of the match, Erling Bergfelt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrik Bergendahl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrik Bergendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Fanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Bergendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Bergfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Börge Friberger, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Egon Lindqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Tim Wiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rune Kock fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hällefors's protests and gave Rune Kock a yellow card for diving instead. 48 minutes in the game, Erland Hedlund dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Bergfelt to strike the kick off in the second half. Erland Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Gilbert Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Habo's goalkeeper Egon Lindqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börge Friberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hällefors's Patrik Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bergfelt in the 88th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
