Claes Wennerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Fanström in the 11th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Hässelby BFdsfdf got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Gerdberg. Claes Wennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Friberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixten Gerdberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Inge Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Bergendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Patrik Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Hällefors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Friberger to maneuver through the defense. Elof Palm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Patrik Bergendahl made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Hässelby BFdsfdf's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Wiman came free, but Claes Wennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Hamnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Bergendahl having to interfere. Hässelby BFdsfdf's Claes Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Friberger in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Fanström in the 41st minute of play forced Hässelby BFdsfdf's goalkeeper Claes Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Richard Fanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Hässelby BFdsfdf's Elof Palm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Bergendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Tim Wiman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hällefors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hässelby BFdsfdf the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Tidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrik Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Tidén in the 53rd minute of the match. Elof Palm scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Bergendahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hällefors's Patrik Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Tidén in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Kock during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Hällefors got a freekick which was hit by Rune Kock. With a little luck, Hässelby BFdsfdf's Claes Wennerberg got control of the ball when Richard Fanström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Wennerberg made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tim Wiman sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Claes Wennerberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 72 minutes, Reine Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hässelby BFdsfdf and the Hällefors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richard Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Claes Wennerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Bergendahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sixten Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hällefors's Rune Kock got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Rune Kock off the ground. Rune Kock kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hässelby BFdsfdf were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
