An unexpectedly hard shot by Miles Davis in the 6th minute of play forced Göteborg FC's goalkeeper Jonatan Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, The Olsson FC's Hubert Classon got control of the ball when Joakim Rolandsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göteborg FC's Jonatan Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Pålsson in the 18th minute of play. Joakim Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hubert Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Haeger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Hubert Classon made a huge save. With 29 minutes on the clock, Bo Jönsätt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of The Olsson FC booed when Göteborg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Majman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Davis in the 54th minute of play. Martin Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Jonatan Majman managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when The Olsson FC's Alvin Pålsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Göteborg FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jörn Haeger hit a great ball. Frans Bammerman's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jonatan Majman - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 69th minute. Jonatan Majman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Davis in the 72nd minute of play. Hubert Classon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lagerberg in the 75th minute of play. Alvin Pålsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Bammerman's late challenge caught a Göteborg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Olsson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Pålsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Ingmar Byström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Majman. Göteborg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingmar Byström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alvin Pålsson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Majman. Jonatan Majman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
