Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sernard FC's Malte Almkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Gröna Stjärnan's Kjell Lundgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Tony Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gröna Stjärnan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Peter Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Andberg in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Calle Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gröna Stjärnan's zone, Tim Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Björklund came out of the goal and Tim Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sernard FC's Peter Karlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sernard FC from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Sernard FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Andersson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wennerström in the 25th minute of play forced Sernard FC's goalkeeper Peter Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Wennerström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 33rd minute, Simon Wennerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Karlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 36th minute, Christian Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Simon Wennerström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Karlberg. Simon Wennerström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Gröna Stjärnan's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Andersson came free, but Alf Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elof Hjeltman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sernard FC's Elof Hjeltman got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Morgan Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gröna Stjärnan's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Malmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Karlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Karlberg having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Wennerström to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sernard FC's zone, Calle Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Karlberg came out of the goal and Calle Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gröna Stjärnan booed when Sernard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Johnsson in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Johnsson in the 68th minute of play forced Sernard FC's goalkeeper Peter Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Sernard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Andersson to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Tony Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Peter Karlberg. Sernard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 79th minute Tony Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sernard FC's Peter Karlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Wennerström in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Johnsson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Karlberg saved Sernard FC from getting behind. In the 84th minute Simon Wennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Sernard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Wennerström came free, but Peter Karlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Wennerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Lundgren in the 88th minute of play forced Sernard FC's goalkeeper Peter Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Simon Wennerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Karlberg. Sernard FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Wennerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Peter Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Asklund in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Gröna Stjärnan were the better team. Gröna Stjärnan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
