Sernard FC's Peter Karlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Valler in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Andersson in the 8th minute of play forced Hässelby BFdsfdf's goalkeeper Claes Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sernard FC's Peter Karlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sernard FC from getting a goal against them. Ola Gulliksson charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Gulliksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ola Gulliksson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sernard FC defense, Sixten Gerdberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Karlberg. The Sernard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Karlberg should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Sernard FC's goalkeeper Peter Karlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elof Palm. Tim Andersson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Peter Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Valler in the 23rd minute of the match. Peter Karlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Tidén in the 24th minute of play. Sernard FC's Peter Karlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sernard FC from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Sernard FC's goalkeeper Peter Karlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Tidén. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Andersson in the 35th minute of play forced Hässelby BFdsfdf's goalkeeper Claes Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Reine Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hässelby BFdsfdf's zone, Malte Almkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Wennerberg came out of the goal and Malte Almkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sernard FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Sten Tidén scored to the left of an out of position Peter Karlberg, making the score, 2-0. Claes Wennerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Almkvist in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Tidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesper Felin during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hässelby BFdsfdf booed when Sernard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Felin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malte Almkvist struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Claes Wennerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sernard FC. Peter Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Palm, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Almkvist got free with Claes Wennerberg in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes, Reine Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hässelby BFdsfdf and the Sernard FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Karlberg came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Hässelby BFdsfdf's Sixten Gerdberg. But to his dismay, Sixten Gerdberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute Malte Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Sixten Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Sernard FC's Christian Skager shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claes Wennerberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sernard FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Sernard FC's Malte Almkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Wennerberg. That made the score 3-1 after 75 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Sernard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Tidén came free, but Peter Karlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Karlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Tidén in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Sten Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Peter Karlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Karlberg came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Hässelby BFdsfdf's Elof Palm. But to his dismay, Elof Palm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Peter Karlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hässelby BFdsfdf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sernard FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
