He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Björn Haeger. If Tim Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, George Gregersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Haeger having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Sernard FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Storgatan Warriors:s goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Sandström to make the kick off. Tim Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Haeger having to interfere. Claes Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Haeger having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Sernard FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Skager. The audience was convinced that Tim Andersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Haeger was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Peter Karlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Sandström in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Storgatan Warriors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
