The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tommy Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Nordström in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Hedman saved Lyckeby FF from getting behind. After 9 minutes of play, ☼dittsolskydd☼'s Patrik Nordström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Hedman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joseph Hedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Nordström went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to ☼dittsolskydd☼ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Per-Arne Wallin hit a great ball. The supporters of ☼dittsolskydd☼ booed when Lyckeby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Hedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Nordström went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby FF's Algot Falkrans got a free kick in the 26th minute. Patrik Nordström scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Hedman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gert Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommy Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Gert Nordström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyckeby FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☼dittsolskydd☼ the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Nordström in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Hedman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Patrik Nordström sped through Lyckeby FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joseph Hedman. Andreas Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Joseph Hedman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☼dittsolskydd☼. Joseph Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Nordström in the 40th minute of play. Joseph Hedman came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ☼dittsolskydd☼'s Andreas Karlsson. But to his dismay, Andreas Karlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.

If Andreas Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Hedman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Nordström's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Andreas Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☼dittsolskydd☼'s supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Hedman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greger Åberg's late challenge caught a Lyckeby FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Greger Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes ☼dittsolskydd☼ got a freekick which was hit by Greger Åberg. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Patrik Nordström sped through Lyckeby FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joseph Hedman. Joseph Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. It was a well-played corner which Anton Vestlund managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 82nd match minute, Lyckeby FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Finsberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Arvin Ahlfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
